It will be - if they reject Evolution today, will they reject the agreed structure of the atom tomorrow? What about electricity, or magnetism?

Christianity has been the cornerstone of scientfic progress.
A number of the most famous scientists of all time were not only Christians, but creationists.
Newton, Kelvin, Kepler, Maxwell, Pascal, Joule, Bacon, Babbage, the Wright brothers, Faraday, Mendel, Pasteur, and many others.
Evolution, on the other hand, stifles debate and hinders progress.
For example telling us that we had vestigial organs. Some people now claim that we have 'junk' dna. Not likely :)

Science, History and education in general are compromised by Christianity. I dont think that Fundamentalists are the only Christians involved. Ive come across some shady moderates and liberal Christians too.

Xianity feeds on the ignorance of an incurious populace.
The intelligentsia and liberals are branded as the enemy...
When the real enemy is ignorance.
Less of your people are going into the sciences...
You're losing your place at the coalface.
What a shame you let the retards call the shots :(

"Fundamental" or "Fundamentalist"?
Not really. Science is based in facts. Religion is based largely on faith and revelation.
One does not impede another. Was Isaac Newton impeded by his belief in God? How about Kepler? Or Maxwell?
Science is not in competition with religion - don't believe the hype.

How. Is there a minister or mad monk that runs through labs with a whip?. OR Is it a crappy economy where funding has dried up?
