    Where: Whitehall on a scaffold in front of the Banqueting House.

    When: 30 January 1649.

    Who: Commoners as well as nobility. Anyone who could make it.

    Family: At the royal court in exile at the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye. (france)

    Who was on stage: Charles, an executioner (masked, maybe William Hewlett), a priest, several revolutionary officials.
