Which of Mankind's defects are exploited by the different religions in order to expand and succeed?

I mean Judaism exploits the elitist characteristic of the hebrews ("We are the chosen ones")

Christianism exploits the fear of death ("Come to Jesus an have an eternal life")

But, What about Muslims? . . . . or Buddhists?

I can't figure out those two

    Sorry porkchop. You're using the Christian redefinition of 'chosen'.

    In Judaism, it's more akin to being hired for a job. If you've ever been hired for a job, chosen for a role on a sport team, or anything similar, you've been chosen too.
