There are several sites that do background checks. But none of them are FREE. Usually they charge $14.95 a month or $19.95 for ONE background check (no subscription).

To me it would be worth the $20 to find out if someone you were wanting to know better has a record. People don't change. Once a jailbird always a jailbird.
