You're probably straightening it too much. Take a break from the heat, and get your ends clipped regularly, deep condition your hair after washing, and MOISTURIZE. When brushing your hair, don't yank it through, it just rips your hair apart, brush through it lightly. Don't wash your hair too often, every two weeks is good enough if your're black, if you're white or any other race, then about 3 times a week is good enough. Hm, what else... Make sure to use heat protectant before straightening, blow drying, etc. Try not to use products with petrolatum, lanolin, or mineral oil, there's nothing "moisturizing" about them. Blow drying can dry out your hair also. Products with Coconut Oil, or Olive Oil, are very good for moisture. Hair masks are nice but will only take you so far It's good to get hair repair treatments every month or so, even if your hair is healthy, And that's about all I can think of for the moment :)

If your hair was smelling burnt after straightening it, you were definitely using a way too high of temperature on it. Using shampoos and conditioners that can restore your hair can help. This site might give you an idea of what to look for: http://www.healthyhairplus.com/Dry-Hair-s/615.htm

Other than that, there isn't a real solution to fixing hair that has taken heat damage other than cutting it and growing it out again. Its important to cut your split ends too keep your hair from getting more damaged and keeping it soft and such. I know people can fix it with conditioners and shampoos, but cutting it is a sure fire way.

you need to use lemon to eliminate each and every of the dandruff, to accomplish that only decrease a lemon in 0.5 and rub it throughout your scalp... notwithstanding lemon will make the hair and the scalp drier. I even have very dry and brittle hair too.. so i oil it with almond or coconut oil before each and every wash.. I depart the oil in one day.. according to probability you're able to easily depart the oil for an hour or 2.. as far greater than oil can lower back reason dandruff.. you additionally can attempt utilising conditioner and/or serum after.

Pantene always worked on my family, so it might work for you. Use Pantene conditioner, and maybe a different shampoo and maybe stop straightening.

Source(s): Don't use spray conditioners, they cause acne, so leave in are better. I don't even know why I know this xD
