irs "wheres my refund" no longer showing my info?

I checked to see if it was updated today since each day it HAS been showing my info but the date has changed. Now i am just getting an error message stating about it not having my info or whatever. Anyone else experiencing this? I filed on the 15th with turbo tax and was accepted on the 17th. Now i'm kinda nervous on if i'm going to get it anytime in the near future.

Update:

"Something else" please do not answer if you clearly have no clue what you are speaking about. Please go answer "something else," thanks.

If you check too frequently, your information "disappears". It should reset and be available again the next day.

I am in the same boat. We filed on 1/17 and got accepted either the evening of 1/17 or first thing in the morning on 1/18 (not sure which one because I didn't follow up until Thursday afternoon with jh and they told me it had been accepted but didn't tell me an exact time). Wmr didn't start showing until Friday saying 1/31 and now I have not been able to access my info since around 12 this morning.

I just called the hotline right now and it is still saying in process and by 1/31 but the wmr website still not showing my info. Hoping for an update soon as I know I should be in the 1/25 batch.

Yesterday, 1/24/12, I called and spoke to an IRS rep, he said WMR is having technical difficulties and is being repaired.

When I asked about the refund schedule, he replied that the schedule really doesn't mean anything ... its just a guideline! Odd.

He also told me that just because the efile provider sent me an email stating the IRS rec'd/accepted my tax return does not mean anything, either. Apparently, after transmitting to the IRS, it can take up to 72 hours before the IRS knows they have it, then it must be processed. He ended by saying everyone should expect to wait 3 weeks for their payments!

    Again, very odd.

I DID MINE WITH TURBO TAX IRS DOES NOT UPDATE EVEYDAY I WAS TOLD UPDATES ARE DONE ON MONDAYS ONLY! I called THIS MORNING AT 9A THEY OPEN FOR CALLS 7AM U CAN CALL: 800-829-1040 this morning 1/25/12 as mine refund was NOT in my account as it was to be and I was told IRS has 3 weeks to process return, and that the IRS ONLY updates once a week on MONDAYS. I was told my taxes were being processed there are NO issues and they should be released by January 31, 2012 and that NO release has been updates so no moneys will be direct deposited till after nest system update of of NEXT MONDAY JANUARY 30th. I was told that direct deposits are going in daily. U can call and they can tell u if your moneys have been released for payment. You can call the IRS and get a LIVE person at:1-800-829-1040 to bypass all the prompts just keep hitting 0 a few times the auto system will say they dont understand your response do it a again and after 2/3 times it connects u to an operator but be WARNED!!! I had to wait & listen to music for aprox 20 min to get the operator then he/or she will put u on hold AGAIN to speak to someone in the PERSONAL TAX DEPT that took 25min on hold with that wonderful... (NOT!) music but I got my answer. I hope this helps.

I can not even get the page to pull up on my desktop but I get it on my phone. My sister and I did our taxes the same day and they were accepted the same time also. My sister has a 25th deposit date but all I have is the 31st as a deposit date. The efile this year is so confusing. The dates change from day to day also. I have been told there was a overload and the system cannot handle all the returns coming in, so there are delays. I hope tomorrow I can pull up the WMR refund site and get some answer or call the refund number and get a dd date.

    I suggest this service: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=538

It's a cheap service that works great! It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names.. you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers. You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone! The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory or personal information and they simply require your email to send spam. The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.

The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise! Trust it!

The same thing is happening to me and my sister in law. I think the system may be down because I only checked it 2 times yesterday and 2 times today so I didn't lock myself out.It was giving me a date the first time yesterday and the 2nd time it was gone as has been since yesterday afternoon. When I called the IRS they said the new system updates EVERYDAY so I don't know why people keep saying once a week.

Im really hoping it is just updating my info since I have had no update since the 18th when they originally gave me the date of Jan 31st.

Hi there, I'm having the exact same issue. I filed on Jan 12th and my return was accepted on Jan 17th. I didn't get my refund today and I'm very worried and upset. Just wondering if you received your refund yet??
