Non-christian theists: Why do you hold the beliefs that you do?

1. What religion do you consider yourself to be?

2. How did you join this religion? (Born into a family that believed it, etc?)

3. What benefits does this religion do for you? (peace, joy, meaning, etc?)

Thanks!

    1. Technically I am a Celtic Pagan Unitarian Universalist. That means I am involved in my local UU congregation but my Spirituality is that of a Celtic Pagan.

    2. I joined the UU church after becoming pagan, but still wanted a place to gather with others of my same liberal, open ended mindset regarding spirituality when I was in my forties, after being raised Catholic.

    3. The UU congregation gives me a place to go to worship with others in a way that is meaningful without being doctrinal. My personal belief system is of no matter to them. My spirituality gives me peace and joy, it frames my life and gives me direction. I feel it is right to follow in the path of my ancestors.
