Hard little bump under my skin? ?
So i was working on this porch about 2 weeks ago and I went to tear up this one bored and I was hitting the crow bar with a hammer and a tiny piece of metal chipped off of it and hit me
Right on my jaw to the left side of my chin. It hurt like hell and started bleeding pretty bad and when it stopped it kinda just looked like I cut myself shaving. But after a couple days it felt like a bruise and swelled up some. I don't think it ever got to quiet the size of a marble but bigger than pea sized. And now the cut it made is about all healed up but there is this hard little bump there and I'm not sure what exactly it is. I was thinking maybe some kind of cyst but I think cyst just grow on their own. But anyway i just wanna know what it is and if I can get rid of it somehow. Help anyone?

It may be the piece of metal still stuck under your skin. This could be cause of the swelling/pain.
Cysts usually form on tendons or near muscles...
You could try and remove it yourself, as you would a splinter, but that could be really dangerous. I'd recommend calling your doctor first, and asking what he recommends. :)
