Spiritually speaking: Why would someone make answers to question invisible?

In question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201201... Thumb score was -5. Then I give TU for everyone I can to make answers visible. Today score is jet again -5?

P.S. Is this good use of Barbara Streisand effect?

    Some people with far too much time on their hands have lots of accounts.

    Some people create lots of accounts so that they can thumb-down all the answers with which they do not agree multiple times. It is an idiotic tactic, which just makes it clear that the person in question cannot stand alternative views being heard.

    I suppose it COULD be the Streisand effect, though the Streisand effect implies that the information will become more widely distributed.
