What are good types of juicers?

I'm looking for a good juicer for fruits and vegetables. I've never used one before, but I've been told that one of the best brands is Breville. Ultimately I would like to spend no more than $100-150 (I would be willing to spend less if it is a good product, but I don't want to skimp on product to save a few bucks). We will be using it at least once a day, so it should be relatively sturdy. Bonus if it isn't the size of an entire counter, but I do understand that many of them are relatively large. Another requirement is that it is powerful enough that I don't have to run the fruit/veggie and its pulp through 98 times to get the maximum amount of juice possible.

Brand names and models are good--even better if you have product links!

Thanks!

I used to have a Vita-Mix, and it was useless. They are designed to turn your solids into a mush, and that's not juice.

I have an old Acme juicer, which I think is called a Champion juicer now. That still works great. ∠°)

I also heard that Breville is the best brand. But here is the consumer report:

All juicers are pretty much bad.... steroids are bad for your health and it may seem like a good idea at the time. you will only regret it, like for serious.
