I think all the books are good, the second one is when he is hurt and learns a lot about himself and magic and elves and fighting and i think that makes it really good, maybe the best, i think the fourth could of had a lot more detail, and i think the last parts was rushed and forced like he was just trying to end the series so probably the second one.

In my opinion it is the third part, the Brisingr. But I liked the most any part where Eragon is learning to use the ancient magic language, and where he learns to "listen" to the nature around him etc...
