How do I make YouTube videos like this?

I am thinking about making my own YouTube videos and thought it would be awesome to have random cutscenes to some famous movie quotes or things like that. For example if I'm discussing how a politician is contradicting themselves I could show Admiral Ackbar yelling "It's a trap!" More examples would be like, "Go ahead, make my day," or "say hello to my little friend!" I would love to use the actual movie clips for these. 1. How would I obtain short clips like this and 2. would this be considered Copyright infringement?

You'd probably have to get DVD's to get 'never been seen before' crap.

You would have to make it funny, though, because Youtube's most successive channels are comedy.

Here are the channels of them, WATCH AND LEARN!!!

    youtube.com/raywilliamjohnson (#1 most subscribed)

youtube.com/nigahiga (#2 most subscribed) (he made a couple of homemade movies and appeared in the theaters once, too)

    youtube.com/smosh (#3 most subscribed)

youtube.com/kevjumba (#13 most subscribed)(appeared in Amazing Race, the TV show)

These people will give you tips on how to do it, suggest E-Mail nigahiga.

Do you have Mac or PC? If you have a Mac (I do) then I can help you out. First get the latest version of iMovie (Free if you bought it with OS X Lion) and then get any YouTube video downloader. (Available on Safari) After this, you can choose any youtube video that you want to include in your video (so in your case Admiral Ackbar) and transfer it to iMovie. Once you have done this, drag your clip to the editing box (on the top.) This is where you can do everything, like cut the scenes you want. To add another scene, simply copy another file and transfer it to iMovie, and drag and drop it to where you want it to play. The best part is that you can make non-HD videos into HD videos. You can also add text in your video, music, and even make specific edits like Ken Burns. After your done, go to the top of your screen where the apple logo is and near "iMovie" you'll see "Share." Click share and select "to YouTube." This is where you can choose your title, tags, info, etc. Good luck!
