I have allot of friends on facebook but some want to chat with me but others on their are online but they never want to chat why is this?

people can be vain... some people just add people without any real intention of chatting to them.. just so they look more popular

People have friends on fb just for the sake of it. The more they have the better it looks. We add people we know and never have a 2nd thought about them.

*they are addicted to pressing " add as friend" button.
