Why does Grand theft Auto games have cheat codes?

So that we can have fun. . The game is tough to finish without cheats..with infinite money buying properties wich will b tough without cheats infinite ammo-its fun to kill people in it. .and it wont spoil the saved games i play gta san it save's properly

Cheat Codes make games more enjoyable.If you get stuck in some difficult missions ( n.o.e. in my case ) cheat codes come in handy.These also allow you to continue the game till the end.These do not have any effect on the saved games rather.So use cheat codes and have fun :)

it would be so much hard to play for some in game

because the game is boring without them

lol so that you can accually have more fun on them with like infinite ammo and stuff is the best

so people can have fun, although i don't condone using it, they help you on missions if its really hard, but although i admit they are fun, they take away from the challenge of it all.

So when your raging you just enter them and wreck everything.

so that you can pass missons easily and then have fun wrecking the place.

you can always play without them.
