how can my parents get through to my 20 year old immature brother?

my brother has a social problems so he's not completely like the rest. still though, ive seen kids with this problems make the best of themselves but my brother is almost 21 and he is the most un-self-sufficient person. my parents have given him many talkes, taken him to people who can help him, doctors i think, and social skill groups . My brother does nothing all day and is un reliable and helpless. i know he needs to grow up soon and as do my parents, but there is no way of getting through to him, and life is going to hit him fast and he wont be ready, my parents have tried everything, and he still can't grow out of this

Update:

BTW- he does go to college, but lives at home

He's 20, so it should be fairly straightforward - he's an adult after all. He should pay rent (nominal probably if he's studying), he should be doing his own washing, he should be cooking for the family at least 2x a week, or at least for himself if the rest of you can't face it. Talking to him won't help if he has no motivation to change a situation where everything gets done for him. If your parents take the safety net away he won't have any other option.

Look what you just said. Life is going to hit him hard and he won't be ready. Believe me, that will be more than enough to force him to grow up. Some people learn and others have to have a huge reality check. My mother does when I was twelve and that was my reality check. Now I'm good. It just might take for something to happen for him to grow up.
