Does anyone know the name of this movie?
It came out a few years ago I don't know an exact year. All i remember is that if you saw this woman and screamed in her presence she would kill you. That's all i remember, my hairstylist brought it up 2 days ago and it's really bothering me! Any help would be great.

It was a classic-style independent Horror film DEAD SILENCE by young director James Wan

and a young Keir Gilchrist, the young canadian Newcomer.
About a Ventriloquist dummy / puppet, who was possessed by the spirit of his murdered owner, who seeks revenge through her little "children" to all who lynched her in the past.
I love Ventriloquist puppets and this was very well made but not very well known!

Dead Silence is the one where when she's (Mary Shaw) is around everything goes silent.
There was a movie that came out called Scream of the Banshee
In it the "Banshee" screams and if you scream she kills you. So the only way to not be killed by her was to NOT scream. I don't know which one it is but Dead Silence is a good one.
