How do you create a timeline homepage for Facebook?

To get timeline, simply go to the Introducing Timeline page and click Get It Now. Or you can wait until you see an announcement at the top of your profile.

Just go to someone else's page who has timeline and it will ask you if you want to get a timeline. That's the easiest way to do it.
