What did God do during that eternity before he created everything?

If God was all that existed back then, what disturbed the eternal equilibrium and compelled him to create? Was he bored? Was he lonely? God is supposed to be perfect. If something is perfect, it is complete--it needs nothing else. We humans engage in activities because we are pursuing that elusive perfection, because there is disequilibrium caused by a difference between what we are and what we want to be. If God is perfect, there can be no disequilibrium. There is nothing he needs, nothing he desires, and nothing he must or will do. A God who is perfect does nothing except exist. A perfect creator God is impossible.

True God does not need us. He is complete and void of nothing. That however does not prove that he is not Perfect or that he did not create us.

    Why did he create us?

His word tells us at Revelation 4:11

"...because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.”

We exist not because He needs us but because he wills for us to exist. In other words it WAS his desire that we are here. Also, because we were created and now exist, we along with his other creations, give testimony to his power and glory.

    Romans 1:19-20

"because what may be known about God is manifest among them, for God made it manifest to them. For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable;"

    Quite simply:

Because God is perfect He can do whatever it is He wants to do. Including create something.

i believe that the Universe has continuously existed- and continuously will and we've an astonishing concern in know-how that thought- because of the fact we've a beginning and an end to our lives- it sort of feels the universe ought to additionally save on with healthful. in case you settle for God because of the fact the mandatory existence stress interior the Universe, permeating each little thing with that stress- no longer as a character as we've created in our minds, yet as a stress, like Gravity- then that's a risk to charm to close the thought that the Universe in basic terms is going on and on and the existence stress interior of it in basic terms populates the universe. there is not any character to God different than the character we ascribe to this stress- the assumption of God as a character with desires and needs and techniques and techniques and a protracted graying beard could interior the top in basic terms be our thought of what we want God to be like- too anthropocentric for me. What if God is like Gravity? without determination yet to maintain on with the undemanding actual regulations of the universe- subsequently the regulations of introduction, the regulations of existence and the regulations of Spirit? Then perhaps God did no longer create the universe because of the fact an thought popped into His techniques at some point, particularly He created the Universe because of the fact He has no determination yet to Create! and that i believe this Universe we now understand will come to an end and he will create it over again. maybe the great Bang will at some point be accompanied via a huge crumple and then yet another vast bang will save on with in an never-ending saga of strengthen/crumple and this produces eternity- with universes coming and going into and out of existence over a neverending onslaught of area time. with the objective to the question to hand- the universe includes area, time, count number and (maybe) existence stress which we've a could desire to call God.

Good question. Yet it was specifically Jesus that created the universe.

    John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word(Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He(Jesus) was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him(Jesus) all things were made; without him(Jesus) nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.

6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.

9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word(Jesus) became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

    God bless you.

    GOD Almighty---"Existed"

SEE: GOD ALMIGHTY---always Was, and always "IS" and Always "Will BE"---if you can UnderStand this:

    GOD Almighty; "IS"

The Creator Exist's in the "NOW"---not in the Past and not in the Future

If GOD existed in the Past---the Universe that we live in, wouldn't "BE"

If GOD existed in the Future---the Universe that we live in, wouldn't "BE"----see?

See, GOD "Exist's"---"NOW", and that is Why "WE" Exist

GOD Almighty is Keeping "Our Universe" "Alive"---because HE Chose's Too.

GOD is "Reality" and that Reality Keeps THIS UNIVERSE---"being", or Alive

Moment by Moment, GOD Keeps this Universe---"Being"

Now, How Many "Universe's" has GOD Kept "Alive"---befor "Our Universe"???

GOD Creates: "Space", "Time", "Physical" so on and so on....

NOW, Who are YOU---to Tell GOD Almighty, .....that HE Dosen't "Exist"???

Tell me and Tell me TRUE
