My check engine light keeps turning on when i drive on the free way. ?

Ok ive been noticing that my check engine light always turns on when i drive on the free way. I toke it to autozone and the slip said two things could b wrong. Its either an exhaust leak or a faulty catalytic converter. Ive been told to get the converter replaced asap by everyone. what should i do?

    diagnose the code that is turning the check engine light on

    we need those numbers to help out with that

    Autozone DOES NOT know how to fix cars

    replace your air cleaner filter

    although it will be spendy- replace the converter.
