I own a 1999 mazda 626 4 cylinder automatic car. I just recently replaced the cat. Converter and now my check engine light turned on. The code is P1131. There are a bunch of things listed on the paper from autozone but the main one is an oxygen sensor. Is it this? Or is it one of the other things listed like a leaking injector, engine vac leak, engine mechanical condition. Help i dont know what to do. Could you also give me an idea on cost.

I need to buy brake pads and wires. Where do you recommend i buy my parts from. I have heard bad things about autozone, but what do you think? Autozone, advance auto, napa, o'reily, mom and pop stores?

Last May i went on a trip to another city. On my way there my 1999 Mazda 626 LX 4 cylinder's check engine light turned on. Naturally i was concerned (especially since i had just purchased it a week before), so i had it checked at Auto Zone. They told me that it was the catalytic converter or anexhaustt leak, but most likely the catalytic converter and to replace it as soon as possible .

To this date i still have not had the converter replaced, simply because i don't have the money yet. I was just wondering about the long term effects on my vehicle for not doing this or if i even need to do this. Everyone tells me that it will mess up my gas mileage, but i have no clue. Also, if anyone has an idea of what something like this should cost me. Any help would be great!! Thank you so much!!

Last summer i needed the money so i pulled from my roth ira. So now that im getting ready to do my taxes should i be concerned about a fee for doing that? Im worried and no one can give me an answer since its a roth ira. Of there is a fee, how much. What if i put some of the money back, but not the whole amount?

Ok ive been noticing that my check engine light always turns on when i drive on the free way. I toke it to autozone and the slip said two things could b wrong. Its either an exhaust leak or a faulty catalytic converter. Ive been told to get the converter replaced asap by everyone. what should i do?

I was told in may of last year that my 1999 mazda 626 was going to need a new one, but i havent had the money. Any ideas on long term effects if i wait longer. Thanks.
