use a courier service like parcel force
they will pick up the item from your house and delivery it for you and the last time i used parcel force which was only about 2 weeks ago for a pc tower, it was my postman who picked it up
you would be cheaper a lot cheaper taking it to the post office than getting parcel force to pick it up

Thousands of people sell these on ebay, so best of luck. Normally you can go to the post office and post them yourself. Use a out of town or village post office where the queue time is considerably less. Once you know how much they weigh in standard packages it is possible to stamp them and post them but you will need counter service for recorded delivery or special delivery.

No.... I guess you've not been living in the UK long.
Royal Mail don't, never have and never will collect parcels. You'd have to go to the post office yourself, unless you could easily fit them through the letter box.
Did the postmen do that in whichever country you're originallly from?

You have to go to the post office.
Seriously, I've never heard of a delivery service collecting an item for you..?

I don't believe the Royal Mail collects.. you'd have to go to the Post Office. However, you could send it via one of the courier companies, such as Fed Ex or UPS... they're more expensive, but they do collect and are much faster...

You have to bring it to the Post Office and post it yourself. It would be great if they did that but I fear they'd all need articulated lorries to do their job. It would also be nice if the bin men brought me a bun and a cup of tea when they do my wheelie bin.
