1. Obama was never a foreign exchange student. The claim originated in an April Fool's email from this site: http://amfoi.wordpress.com/ Foreign students don't get US student aid, and Indonesia wouldn't send an exchange student who had gone to a Hawaiian school for 9 grades.

2. Obama lived with a woman for several years in Chicago, and was quite the ladies man. But look what happened to Herman Cain's ex-partners. No woman wants to go through that.

5. Obama graduated from Columbia in 1983. George Stephanopoulos graduated in 1982. They were only on campus together for one year. Stephanopolous would have been taking senior courses, Obama would have been taking core courses to fill in the requirements he missed as a transfer student. As a graduating 4-year resident student, George would have had his own circle of friends. As Obama was a new transfer student living off campus (housing wasn't available to transfers), those circles wouldn't overlap. George also didn't play basketball, which was Obama's prime free-time activity.

8. Lawyers only need active law licenses if they represent clients in court or counsel clients. It's quite common for them to go on inactive status if they aren't actively practicing. They don't have to pay bar dues, carry malpractice insurance, or take classes to update their skills. In 2002, Obama was a senior lecturer at the University of Chicago, a State Senator, a consulting attorney ("of counsel"), and served on several community organization boards. He didn't need the license for any of that and had political ambitions with no intention to practice law, so he voluntarily retired. Michelle Obama is on voluntary inactive status, meaning she could easily go back to active status. The Court at the time made everyone who wanted to voluntarily change status ask the court. 9. The US Census doesn't publish social security numbers, names, or aliases. The rumor of many SSN comes from a public database with rough data. The database shows numbers and names "associated" with each other. Every entry looks like Obama's until you clean up the data. Some entries are Michelle's number, some are business partners, some are people who had his office before/after he did (like Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio). Some are nonsense, like 999-99-9999. They just show associations for an investigator to start looking int. The data is used for skip-tracing, so it's far from clean. No one would expect to use it straight. There's no evidence Obama USED any number except the one he was assigned. 10. The Social Security Administration says that the number don't necessarily mean a specific geographic reason. Thousands of people have incorrect attributions, usually from typos. You often hear about people the SSA thinks are dead that are still alive, a few with the same assigned number through no fraud, wrong years or wrong states. Obama lived in zip code 96814, 06814 is Danbury CT.

11. The debunked rumors of a few paranoid xenophobes aren't evidence.

Looks like a collection of unprovable claims that were in an email circulated back in August of 2008.

If you could provide some verifiable links to any of this, I would be happy to debunk them.

thank you so much for saying this! i have been asking these same questions for 3 yrs now. if you go back and look, obammys mom married an Indonesian man when he was in grade school! in order for anyone to go to school in Indonesia in those days you must become a citizen! the constitution states that a no one can become president with dual citizenship! Dem's want to move on from this so he can continue to run this country in the ground! if he has nothing to hide then why doesn't he just release the records and prove to everyone that he is a us citizen and that is his only citizenship?
