Have you ever experienced "love at first sight"?

(Please don't confuse "love" with "lust")

While the only time I ever have, was online.. (don't judge! It worked out well.)

I wonder how it is for other people.

I'm sure if calling it a "crush" sounds right.. Crush seems to fall between love and lust to me..

Then again, I wouldn't be asking If I knew.

Like I said, my experience with it was online. I'm a shy person so interacting online is something I can do easier.

It was in a chatroom, someone asks me if I wanted to play a game with them. I was bored and agreed to it. This chatroom had support for games such as Tic-Tac-Toe, Battle Ship, Etc.

So we are just playing the games and talking a bit. She wasn't to good at them since I was winning most of them pretty easy, so I'd throw a few of them and lose so she wouldn't feel bad. I thought it was really fun playing and talking to her, and I think that was my "love at first sight" moment.

I had NO idea what she looked like so there was zero physical attraction.

I had only just met her, so I didn't know much about her except for the stuff we talked about in that short time. All I knew was that I liked her and wanted to talk to her more.

    It was a crush, but not love at first sight

    I went into Walgreen's and there was this guy smiling at me, he didn't look at my body just my face, I smiled back, the whole time while my parents were looking for things to buy..I looked for him, while he seemed he was looking for me as well, every time our eyes synced together we would smile at each other, I laughed a couple of times and was really nervous...when I had to leave I looked back and he was there and smiled at me.

    Once I got into the car I saw him walk outside but he couldn't see me, but I could see him =D lolz

    Haven't forgotten about him since than, his look felt different from all the other guys for whom I encountered or was friends with. He made me feel really special even though we never talked. Since then I have never seen him. But that day really changed me and I wasn't as nervous to talk to guys anymore, it almost boosted my confidence in a way, so weird....

    Only lust. I cannot love someone I do not know at all, they could be hideous. But the girlfriend I have now (yes I finally have one, it was a long time, too long) I like her the SECOND I saw her, I was thinking she is LOVELY and now I just have to get her. Hahah! And I did and even if she left me I am kind of still happy because I wanted her and I got her. :D

    You are not talking about sight here; you're talking about NOT seeing someone, and writing back and forth to them, so your question to us isn't really related to the details you gave. I have taken one look at someone and said "I'd hit that", but it wasn't really love. It was definitely lust.

    no and i dont thin it exisist. love at first sight is unrealistic bc there is no way you could fully love someone when 1st seeing them. you could feel lust for them extremem sexual attraction perhaps interest or mind blown feelings, but not love. love is somehting you feel when you fully understand someone when you both are completed comitted and there for eachother when eveyrthing about the person makes you feel all tinggly inside. love is accomplished through time with someone therefore it cannot happen by the sight of someone.

    No, you can't really love someone without knowing their personality so if you 'love' them at first site it's just physical attraction. You can't tell a persons personality just by looking at them.

    Crushes sure. Hasn't everyone had a crush before? But love? Hmm.... I don't think you can love someone without knowing them, honestly.

    I didn't, and probably never will, as it goes against my concept of love - as something that takes time to happen not something that, in a moment, pops into existence.

    I don't believe in love at first sight...

    But I believe in love at first f*** (lol) that's what Wale (the rapper) said and I totally agree with him.

    I haven't really experienced love... well being in love. I'm 19. I hope I get to experience it soon! :)
