What is the name of the 9-ball rack that they use on ESPN that squeezes the balls together for you.?

It is diamond shaped with a handle that comes over the center. I believe that there is a button on the end of the handle that when pressed squeezes the balls together making the rack tight. I'd like to buy one but don't know what to call it and am having a hard time making google find it. Also, do they make one for 8-ball?

That's the Sardo Tight rack. They're somewhat pricey and I've heard you need to put some indentions into your table before they work properly. Can't say for sure though. Most people seem very satisfied.

The Magic Rack is an alternative that does a great job and is very cheap. You put it on the table, and the balls settle into it and make a perfect rack. After the break, you pull it off the table and play.

I am thinking that it is the "Sardo" Rack....seems that you can use the same one for 8 ball. Not really sure, never have really seen one.
