Where to start reading Superman/Batman comics?

Hi, I recently started reading American Comics and I've read a couple series now and would like to go into DC. So far I've started:

Ultimate Spider Man [finished]
Deadpool [finished]
Scott Pilgrim vs The World [finished]
Cable & Deadpool
Amazing Spider Man
Ultimate X Men [finished]
Ultimate Team Up
Spawn [finished]
Shadow Man 
Kick *** [Waiting for last issue]

Now, I'd like to get into Superman and Batman, but uhh..where do I start? Modern is better seeing as how I greatly enjoyed Ultimate Spider Man compared to Amazing [still love Amazing though]. So any reboots or anything are fine, and I doubt I'll be able to buy the originals anyways so yeahhh. Just recommend where I should start thanks :D (I like to start with the origin stories so i dont wanna start in the middle of a series, js)

Now is a good time to get into DC comics because they just relaunched 52 of there most popular comics. They restarted them from the begining. 

So for Superman you can just pick up Superman #1, and also Action Comics #1.

But most of all for Superman, I think you should SERIOUSLY READ  the graphic novel Superman: Earth One. It brings an INREDIBLE HUMAN ELEMENT to Superman. This is my favorite comic book of all time!!!!!!

It has an incredible story about 20 year old Clark Kent's  decision to be Superman.

I think you should read that ABOVE ANY OTHER COMICS!!!!!!!

As for Batman, just take up Batman #1 or Batman and Robi #1 or The Dark Knight #1 or Detective Comics #1.

But over those, there's a new Batman graphic novel coming out created by the same guys who created Superman: Earth One.  It's called Batman: Earth One. It's about his Jorney to become BAtman. It's not out yet, but it's coming and I think yo shouldpre order it because I loved Superman earth one soooo much.

If you want one where they work together, one I really liked was Superman/Batman: The Search for Kryptonite. It's funny and cool. It shows Batman's and Superman's thoughts and you can see what they really think of each other. It's very cool.
