Sahara's major reason was to get some concession for yuvi's absence and increase the money they could spend on new players to overcome that loss.
BCCI dint allow this coz it was unfair for the other franchises.
I would be proud of the sahara parivar if their main motive to back out would be a test revival and quittin IPL to groom young players and avoid their talent goin to waste just for a few extra bucks.
For god's sake test cricket is real cricket.Playing for an IPL team and representing a city you dont even belong to is bullshit.
Hope BCCI learn a lesson and ban IPL.

They'll continue but they will have to watch out. One of their tv broadcasters has already pulled out. India losing two test series away 4-0 for each series won't have sponsors jumping over each other to get at the BCCI.

Its indeed a big blow but it doesn't matter anything for BCCI. They will soon find a sponsor who will be willing to invest more than what Sahara did.

@Bill P: you're wrong...they'll be jumping over. You don't know my country better than me. It doesn't hurt BCCI at all. Rather they'd happy to get away from the old horses.
