Restoring to factory settings on acer laptop w/o disk?

So my system settings are messed and i need to reformat and the acer company is refusing to give me a repair disk and says i need to pay them $150 for them to tell me how to restore it back to factory settings so i decided to look it up and found out you need to hold alt and press f10 rapidly until the eRecovery thing pops up. Whenever i do it just makes a beating sound each time i press f10 with alt held down. If i spam it it stays on that black screen and wont move further. Everyone elses problems say they get some type of message but i just get a loud beeping sound. Really could use some help it would be greatly appreciated. My os is Vista btw.

Update:

I dont have anyone to burn me off a disk. I really need help with the eRecovery not opening and the beeping sound problem

Update 2:

Looking it up on google aswell and it seems everyone has an "acer recovery folder" or something like that where they can restore to factory settings there but this isnt the case for me i have nothing.

Acer is just a rip off. Get somebody to burn you off a disk I don't think acer can stop you from doing that.
