BT Infinity vs Virgin Media's equivalent?

Looking to upgrade my sh*tty 6-year-old slow-as-hell internet and these 2 seem the best options considering there's more than 1 computer and a PS3 that use the same connection. Anyone with either of these have any opinions/details to share? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

    Right now, nothing short of a commercial connection can compete with Virgin Media's 100Mb/s connection.

    BT are working hard at it, and at the moment have a nice 30Mb/s package that I hear works well, and upgrades are planned too - but Virgin are upgrading also.
