Is it an MOT failure to have an air horn instead of a standard one?
By air horn I mean just a standard two-tone horn and not a musical one, this is the one I'm after.
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoA question about car insurance?
So I'm planning on buying a car in a week or so (hopefully), and want to know how long I have to insure it. Do I have to sort it out when I buy the car or is there an amnesty period? I heard there was a 48 hour period in which to sort it out.
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration8 years agoInstalling Windows 7 over Windows 8?
So my dad bought himself a laptop with Windows 8 installed (big mistake), and he really doesn't like it. I've tried allowing booting from the DVD drive and changing the boot order in the laptop's BIOS, but still had no luck. So if I connected his hard drive to my computer (which DOES allows booting from DVD), would I then be able to format it and install Windows 7?
3 AnswersSoftware8 years agoBest 3rd party camera software on the Play Store?
I rooted my Galaxy S3 and wanted to install an updated camera apk, and made the stupid mistake of not backing up my original camera software. Now the standard Samsung camera software won't work, so can anyone recommend an alternative, or link me to the standard Samsung apk?
2 AnswersMobile Phones & Plans8 years agoDLL file missing, can someone point me in the right direction?
The dll file I need is pbvm100.dll, but I can't find it anywhere on my computer (my OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x64)

For child neglect/abuse.
Not entirely sure if this is the right category, but hey, someone might know.
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby8 years agoIf I declare a car off the road, do I have to keep it off for the full 12 months?
I was thinking of buying a car and declaring it off the road while I sort out the insurance and was wondering whether I can declare it back on the road before the SORN expires.
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration8 years agoIs there anywhere online where I can find a save for Sonic Adventure 2 (PC version)?
I've already struggled through the PS3 version to get 180 emblems (seriously, f*ck the Biolizard) and I don't feel like doing it again, are there any 100% saves online anywhere?
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games9 years agoIs there anywhere at Silverstone where I can charge a phone?
Since I'm one of those blessed/cursed with an iPhone, it's inevitable I'm going to need to charge it or take my spare phone. Is there anywhere at the track where I can charge it?
Also we didn't pay for electricity at the campsite.
3 AnswersFormula One9 years agoIn Final Fantasy VII, can I get back into the Gold Saucer after going to the Temple Of The Ancients?
I'm aiming to get Omnislash on disc 1 but I want to get some more levels, and the best place I can think to do so is in the Temple Of The Ancients. Also, since the Ribbon is pretty much a necessity for the Battle Arena, I want that too. There are also some pretty powerful weapons there too.
Playing on the PC version.
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games9 years agoRoughly how long does it take for a McLaren t-shirt to arrive?
I ordered the 2012 Jenson Button t-shirt today and was wondering if anyone knows roughly how long it takes for stuff ordered off of McLaren's website to arrive.
1 AnswerFormula One9 years agoBT Infinity vs Virgin Media's equivalent?
Looking to upgrade my sh*tty 6-year-old slow-as-hell internet and these 2 seem the best options considering there's more than 1 computer and a PS3 that use the same connection. Anyone with either of these have any opinions/details to share? Anything would be greatly appreciated.
3 AnswersComputer Networking9 years agoA question about Sky?
So we have 2 active boxes in our house (a Sky+ HD box and a standard Sky+ box), but only one card. I plugged the card into the standard box so I could watch some programmes that were recorded before we got HD, and I noticed it also changed the order of the channels, so now all the standard definition channels have swapped places with the HD ones (for example E4 is normally channel 136, but has now moved to 215, where E4 HD usually is on a standard box) . Is there any way to revert that back so all the SD channels are back in place?
2 AnswersTiVO & DVRs9 years agoIf you could choose one team to bring back into Formula 1, what would you pick?
Even though they're technically still in F1, I'd choose Jordan, with that yellow and black livery.
9 AnswersFormula One9 years agoPS3 won't/can't obtain IP address?
Tried signing in and it can't connect. I'm using a wireless connection, my router is a Netgear DG384GT and my ISP is Sky. It's worked fine upto now.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/161123...
They win the best broadcaster award and they think cutting half the races is the best way to save money, even though they're going to all races to film the highlights for the non-live ones.
4 AnswersFormula One9 years agoWhat moron thought putting NASCAR in GT5 was a good idea?
First they put a stupid challenge in which just involves turning left and slipstreaming, then to top it off they put a B-Spec event in, which is one of the most frustrating championships I've seen in a GT game for a while since the B-Spec drivers drive like right tarts and can't overtake without smashing into the back of someone.

I saw that he was being investigated after the race, but I went out straight after the last lap.
