Would the BNP gain more support if…..?

Abu Qatada has been told by the European courts the UK cannot remove him from the country. But if the BNP was protest outside his home. Would this not force the government through public opinion to put him back into jail as they feared for his life on the out side..

After all other notorious criminals have been kept in jail for the same reasons and they where British.

So would this not be a publicity coop as well as build support for the BNP.

Ps. I’m against the EU & it’s lawmakers…

The government doesn't put people in jail because they fear for their lives! Also, how would threatening the life of an individual, who hasn't actually be found guilty of anything (though I don't doubt he is a nasty man who should be removed from this country) gain the BNP more support? It would only gain them the support of the ignorant and the violent - and they seem to be monopolising that already.

I don't really see how the Abu Qatada issue could gain the BNP any support at all. After all, most other political parties are just as annoyed at the ruling as they are. Even if he committed an act of terrorism, the current government would probably get just as much support as the BNP, because instead of simply protesting outside a house or whatever, they have been actively (to a certain extent) trying to remove him from this country to face justice elsewhere.

Personally, I think we should just hand him over to the Americans, but there you go. I don't think many people will be taken in by the BNP over this issue.

The BNP gains support when the 3 main parties ignore the wishes of the people. I am not saying our parliamentary process operates as a plebiscite but at the last election the Lib Dems and the Tories promised many things in their manifestos but have reneged on most of them. This is why people drift to the extreme parties. Now you can not protest in UK without politicians and some establishment nerds stopping it. We do not have a democracy.

I don't think your premise in your question is right as a matter for concern but I do feel that the BNP could make some capital out of controversial matters but they fail to do it.

After all the main parties tell outright lies - so why cant the BNP apply the same devious tactics, I don't like them but they are not an illegal functioning group.

Never mind about the BNP. Its the present government that needs to stand up and be counted and tell those who interfere in our laws to keep their noses out of our business. The ruling by the European Court of Human Rights was nothing short of pathetic and humiliating to our country by telling us that we could not expel a dangerous terrorist.

Perhaps the UK should suspend its membership of the European Convention on Human Rights and do what is necessary in order to protect us the people. Put him on the next plane out and the problem is solved. At worst send him to the European Court as a present from us.

If he commits any act of terror then yes the BNP will have some more support.

If he doesn't then maybe not.

I hate BNP (Bloody No-good Pricks)! Lol

I agree with old grumpy. The european court of injustice should be be told, in no uncertain terms where and when, to get off the bus.

The BNP would gain more support if they weren't so obsessed about peoples skin colour.
