Christians besides the bible what makes you believe?

Just because you don't like the answers does not mean they are BS.

Personally, It seems to me that everything is way too organized in the universe for it to have happened by chance.

in God?

One, I believe in an intelligent designer. You go into the woods and see a log cabin but you do not see anyone around. Do you think nature created the cabin? Of course not. Yet, there are those that think that man, life, the planet earth, a solar system, etc, came from one singular big bang. The whole idea that a singular big bang formed an organized universe is totally ridiculous. I believe that a being, God, The Father, and God, The Son, and God, The Holy Ghost, created the universe and all that is within it.

and how do you know when you guys say you are praying that it is god talking to you and not just your conscience?

I do not believe that God talks to man anymore for the Bible say so. Read Hebrews 1:1,2: 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" Christ speaks to Christians via the Word of God.

Prayer is the avenue that man makes known his thoughts, wishes and concerns to The Father. God, The Father, does not communicate to man via prayer since the day of the closure of the Old Testament. God, The Father never talked to man in the New Testament.

I believe for several reasons. One of them is the Bible, yes. After studying that book in all of its intricacies and depths of meaning, I have personally become convinced of its truth. But beyond that, I have considered the reasons, foundations, and implications of the most prevalent worldviews in our culture. Christianity is the only framework through which the world makes sense, ethics and morality make sense, humanity makes sense, and purpose and life make sense. The others try to explain away inconsistencies, but only the Bible explains the world in such a way that adequately answers and logically explains those vital philisophical questions of life, death, God, the universe, good, evil, and more.

There's a difference in prayer and prayer. The other day I was really angry with a situation. I told God it was his fault because he didn't fix it. I was kinda rude I feel. Then another situation that was in alignment with this situation happened. Again, I told God I was sorry but I can't stand this issue anymore and now it's worse. Within 15 minuets, one of the situations was fixed. The second is still be worked on. It's a feeling, you can feel when the Holy Spirit is with you. God promised us when Jesus went to Heaven, that he would send the Holy Spirit to us so that we would not be alone. God has proven this over and over and over .....Bless His Name...

They are afraid not to believe. Just read all the answers about how evil man is and how they needed a Jesus to "save" them from "hell". THAT IS FEAR.
