Do you know of any children who were named after a song or musician?

Evening.

One of my mates brothers was called Zowie after Bowies son.He got picked on at school (for some reason) and they ended up changing his name to Nicky which is just as bad lol.

Na the kids got to live with it.

My youngest cousin is called Rhiannon, after the Fleetwood Mac song.

{Not, despite her parents enjoyment of the Welsh countryside, after the mythical Welsh goddess}.

On a side note, both her parents are / were FM fans, but she is not!

I like unusual, nature or mythological based names, so there aren't any singers, and I'm not sure about song titles, but then I'm not currently in a position to need to think of baby names...

My nephew has a friend named Cobain, after Kurt. I don't plan on having any children of my own, but I would consider naming a child after a song if it had meaning for me.

I don't know anyone personally, but when I get older I want to name my kid Lucy after

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. And Anna Elizabeth after the song "Anna (Go to Him)" and "Dizzy Miss Lizzy." if I have a boy he'll definitely be John after John Lennon. :)

A neighbor named their first daughter Rhiannon.

My sisters middle name is Jordan, she is named after the guy in new kids on the block.

I have a daughter who's name is Amie Riannon. its kinda related to the song Amie by Pure Prairie League and Riannon by Fleetwood Mac. but the way me and my husband came up with her name is unique, my husbands name is Rickie- notice the ie on the end, thats how we spelled her name Amie, its part of her daddy's name (plus easier for him to remember how to spell her name)! and we get the Riannon from both of our names, we took the Ri from his name (Rickie) and took my middle name which is Ann and then we put an "o" and an "n" on the end and we got Riannon!! but i come from a family of ppl who are into music and got me into music, so i got to spell my girls name from 2 songs and also from mine and my husbands name too!!!!
