Mothers: How long did your labors take?

My first took just under 3 hours all up.

My second took about 1 hour 50 mins.

My third took about 1 hour 30 mins.

They were all natural labors :) What about you?

First: 40 weeks, 36 hours, gas and air for pain relief, 9lb 3oz boy

Second: 40 weeks, 18 hours, gas and air, 8lb 12 oz boy

Third: 40 weeks, labour n/a as they pretty quickly realised baby was a sneaky missed breech, emergency cesarean with a spinal, 7lb 10oz girl.

Ultimately birth and delivery are a means to an end. It doesn't matter how a baby arrives, how long it takes, or what drugs are/aren't used so long as a baby arrives safely and the mother is safe and well too. It's the years that follow the delivery that are the important bit!

My 1st took 24 hours, my 2nd was 12, and my 3rd was also 12 hrs. I think the 2nd 3rd are always shorter....but it also depends on how many years the pregnancies are apart from each other

I've only had one and it was pretty good - 7.5 hours in total (6.5 hours established labour & 1 hour pushing.) Healthy boy born at 3:31pm weighing 7lb, 13oz. He came early at 38.5 weeks.
