rollercoaster tycoon gold on windows 7?

so i have been trying to install rollercoaster tycoon gold on windows 7. its a 2 disc set. one with the original game, one with the expansion packs. i got the first one to work (eventually) by adding it to a DEP exception list. when i tried to install the expansion packs, i get "setup.exe has stopped working" every time. its very frustrating. i have looked around the internets with no help. anybody know what to do?
