shes 22 going to be 23 in dec but she and i met in high school my senior year and she was a freshman but the thing i am trying to get to is her parents have no reason to not like me except for the fact that they simply dont care about anybody but themselves and thier son they also treat her like a slave just because she wasnt born by the mom but i was just asking how many have had this happen to them

my husband mom did not like me because she thought the her son loved me more than her. i thought that my husband loved his mother more than me. he says that he loves us both the same.

There's 2 possible reasons. They're daughter is under 18 and they don't really want her dating or 2. you have some bad trait that they don't like for example:smoker, heavy drinker, not going anywhere in life or maybe too bad looking for their daughter.
