Could I put milk in a coffee maker to make hot chocolate?

I don't know whether or not it will mess up the coffee maker...

If it makes any difference depending on what type of coffee maker it is, here's a link showing a picture of the coffee maker that I have:

No. This won't work because, coffee machines work by steaming the water up from the back of the machine and then dripping down through the coffee grounds into the kettle. If you tried to do that with milk it wouldn't steam it would just scald and stick to the inside of the machine.

Don't do it. It will mess up the coffee maker. The milk can scald and stick to all of the innards of the machine.

Not recommended. The milk would curdle and foul your coffeemaker.
