Is it possible for iranian President Ahmadinejad to be right for once ?

"Gunmen assassinate Syrian army general in Damascus"

"Western and Arab countries are considering forming a coalition to help Syria's opposition, though so far there is no sign they intend to give direct aid to the FSA."

...

"Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, one of Assad's top allies, warned Arab countries on Saturday not to give aid to the opposition. Speaking to tens of thousands of supporters in Tehran on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Ahmadinejad said countries in the region that have never held free elections are trying to write a "prescription for freedom and elections for others" with the help of the United States."

Or does the West really needs to get involved in Syria ?

Update:

Personally I don't see in Syria a dictator killing his own people. I see a head of state who fights back an armed revolution. If Freedom Fighters were attacking the White House and the US Army intending to topple the government, Obama would also fight back.

I think this is a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't in Syria.

But I do agree with you about the government fighting back against the revolution; a revolution I believe is financed and incited by the "Muslim Brotherhood" which is a dangerous master to work under.

The syrian people are being slaughtered...They ask...Where is the world.

Sadly all we can do is watch as a government turns its military loose on ordinary ppl slaughtering its own citizens. Men women and children, then barricade towns so if they don't kill them, they can starve them to death.

Psychopathic nuts ruling the middle east like Ahmadinejad a murderer of his own people, no its not possible he could ever be Right . The innocent victims are nothing more than dirt under their feet.

Source(s): Unfortunately we can do nothing, truly our hands are tied.

He is right about many of the countries in the area, whose people are patently NOT free and are in fact rued by decree. However, keep in mind the KILLING. Whether there is democracy or not is secondary to the fact that Assad is KILLING his own people. Ahmadinejad is conveniently forgetting that, as are the Chinese and Russian leadership. But then, for te leaders of the three mentioned countries, killing people is not something to get too worked up about. It is after all, what THEY would do to hold on to power.

Right or wrong it matters not what does matter is whether or not America should get involved And in my opinion we should not But i fear we will and that will lead to ww3 Sometimes it is best to do what is best for America we should set back lick our wounds and heal our selves

I have always feared these so called "freedom" groups are a ploy to introduce extreme Islamism with Sharia law.
