There is no real way to actually promote your tumblr, but there are tips on getting new followers. Just post good stuff and try and keep the stuff you post under a category, so more people will follow. Example, I only a Paramore blog, therefore alot of Paramore fans have followed me. I also have a personal blog but I only post a certain style of photos, and people who like that have followed me.
