I would not construe that as him asking you out, no. This is why people should put the cell phones down and talk to each other. I've seen more questions on here about "What does this text mean?". This guy may be shy. The haha means he thought about you two going together and it made him nervous. Probably because he's afraid to ask outright. He doesn't want to be seen as a stalker. The "haha" gives him an out if things got awkward(I was just kidding). If he didn't want to go at all he wouldn't have replied at all. You may have to make the move. Suggest you two go. No rule says you can't ask him out.

Text him or call him( if you guys talked on the phone before), and ask him to that new club. and invite a couple of friends. Plan it out with your friends and tell him, hey my friends and i are going to that club that I asked you about.Come and join us! Dont overthink, Just ask him and be cool about it. lol and if he says no its his loss.:) hope this helps
