Hey, conservatives...?

When conversing with liberals, do you ever feel completely hopeless? Like no amount of reason on earth can make them see the error of their logic? Do you feel morally repulsed by their sense of "right" and wrong?

No Brittany, I don't even bother to reason with the liberal mind. They just make me laugh, or roll my eyes to the lack of reason or fact they present.

Not at all. Liberals simply don't have an logical ability, thus they have no errors in it. Logic involves some measure of thought, and liberals simply have no desire to do that. They just repeat what they're told.

Most liberals I try to talk to don't want to hear anything that is in opposition to what they believe. They in fact choose to not listen or consider any opposing point of view.

It always makes me think of the old saying, "there are none so blind as those who will not see."

    Sad!

It is frustrating and futile to attempt to logically debate morality, ethics or "right and wrong" with those on the left infected with the philosophy of moral and cultural relativism.

I avoid politics for the mst part. Both sides have their theoretical stats and facts, and until the day comes when they can be confirmed beyond any philosophical state. Neither side will concede.

I have discussions with conservatives all the time but they soon give up when I give them fact after fact and they run out of rhetoric. It is like they are trying to argue that the world is flat.

  • I don't feel morally repulsed, I just know them for what they are and I do everything I can to make sure that they don't get their way.

The 'Moral Compass' of Conservatives ... is FOX.

Or - - - as it's known in Great Britain ... a 'Vast Criminal Enterprise' ... with employees being arrested daily.

    ..

FACT - - - the poorest people in the poorest counties vote for Republicans .... Why? Cause they are 'edjamacated' by TV ... specifically, FOX.

    ..

FACT: Among the 100 counties with the highest dependence on government handouts - - - two thirds voted for McCain.

yes, but since I can't wave a magic wand at them to make them "get it", verbal intercourse must be pursued.
