Remember Obama's comment to Russian Premier Putin about what Obama said he would do if he won reelection?
Looks like he wasn't kidding. Here is the result: http://minutemennews.com/2013/02/russian-nuclear-b...
Now ask yourself why we haven't seen any news about this incident in the mainstream media.
Looks like this is a fine example of our foreign relations programs Obama is so proud of.
8 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhy doesn't a dollar today buy you as much as it did in the year 1900?
Something that cost $1 in the year 1900 now costs around $25 today..... for the every same items.
Have a look at this: http://web.bryant.edu/~ehu/h364proj/sprg_97/hurley...
An apple is an apple and an egg is an egg, so what has happened? The answer is that our government has been spending and issuing credit far in excess of its revenue. That makes each unit of our currency worth less and businesses must therefore charge us more just to be able to restock their shelves. It looks like prices have risen when in reality they haven't. It is just the effect of monetary inflation.
Every single proposal President Obama made in his recent State of the Union address was a proposal to spend more and more.... to increase our deficit even faster. THAT will make it still harder for the average person to keep up with the cost-of-living.
All politics aside how do we get the politicians to put a stop to this insanity?
14 AnswersPolitics8 years agoHave you noticed that here on YA......?
Have you noticed that here on YA that the usual liberal response to something said by a conservative is to attack their character, or intelligence, or parentage. No attempt is made to explain why their liberal ideas would be better than those submitted by conservatives Why is that?

Since the late 1950's the US has been spending more and more and more and more on fighting poverty...... yet...... the percentage of our population on welfare has gone up. Could it be that the more we are willing to pay for something the more of it we are going to get?
Here some plain cold hard facts about welfare offered without opinion or political purposes:

Looks like the NAACP thinks so... at least in Houston.
5 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWhat does the military think of Obama?
Well, military people swore an oath to, "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic." That would include all political figures including the President.
A good group of people to ask would be retired military because they can no longer be re-assigned to remote desolate assignments if the Administration doesn't like what they say.
Sooooo...... let's have a look...... http://media.washtimes.com/media/misc/2012/11/05/a...
THAT should settle the issue.
11 AnswersPolitics9 years agoDoes Obama really like and respect our military?
The Democrats try to tell us he does, but his record appears to say otherwise.

Friend --
In Monday night's 90-minute debate focused on foreign policy and wars abroad, Mitt Romney failed to mention our veterans even once.
Maybe we shouldn't be surprised -- dismissing veterans is just par for the course for Governor Romney. He didn't mention our troops abroad in his nomination acceptance speech, and when he dismissed nearly half our country as people who see themselves as "victims," that included veterans who are receiving the benefits they've earned.
Someone who wants to be commander in chief should honor and respect the sacrifice our veterans have made, both in word and in deed.
President Obama has consistently put veterans first, expanding their educational opportunities and helping them get the health care and benefits they've earned. He'll continue to fight for all those who served, no matter when or where.
After six years of running for president, Mitt Romney has proven that he just doesn't get it when it comes to America's veterans.

Oh Really???? Remember how in 2000 the Democrats worked to get absentee ballots from Florida servicemen invalidated? Now a similar thing is apparently happening in Ohio, which just might be the state that decides the election. Don't you think that if anyone has earned the right for special efforts to have their ballots counted it is our servicemen? Their own record proves the Democrats do not.

Remember the Fort Hood massacre? Former President and Mrs Bush, on their own, showed up there within hours to give help and comfort as they could. Presdient Obama didn't show up there for about a week.... he was too busy playing golf in Hawaii. From A Soldiers Perspective:
http://militarygear.com/asp/2009/11/07/p%E2%80%A6
The Obama Administration has refused to call the Ft Hood incident an act of terrorism. They are calling it a "workplace incident," which limits the injury and death benefits to the servicemen and their survivors.

Under the Obama Administration veterans unprocessed disability claims have risen by 179%. That doesn't exactly confirm a concern for our veterans does it? http://cnsnews.com/news/article/backlog-%E2%80%A6
Who is more likely to know whether or not someone does or does not support the military, those in the top ranks or those in the lower ranks? Have a look at the list on the bottom of this page.

How about former servicemen? They know how they have been treated by Democrats in the past.

4 AnswersGarden & Landscape9 years agoThey could have, but didn't. Why didn't they?
They liberals continue to bring up a whole range of things they blame on Reagan and Bush.
Now then, during Obama's first two years the Democrats had the Presidency and a veto-proof Congress meaning they could have passed anything they wanted to.... including repealing any previous legislation.
They obviously knew which things they didn't like because they kept using those things as excuses.
If they knew what was wrong why didn't they fix the problems when they had the unlimited power to do so?
If you know that something is wrong, and you complain about it, and yet do nothing to change it you must be be either ineffective, incompetent, or uncaring. There are no positive characteristics to being in a situation where you have the power to make things better and either cannot, or choose not to.
Which is it and why?

Obama said that Romney "sure can afford" to pay more in taxes. Since when is it the President who gets to decide our tax policy? BTW take note that he didn't include himself (he's a multi-millionaire) in his comments.
