Isn't it the responsibility of Congress....?

.... to decide how much in taxes we each should pay?

Obama said that Romney "sure can afford" to pay more in taxes. Since when is it the President who gets to decide our tax policy? BTW take note that he didn't include himself (he's a multi-millionaire) in his comments.

Obama is saying that Congress should change the tax laws. How is that not clear.? And yes that would raise taxes for Obama too.

No, it is the responsibility of the American people to tell Congress what tax laws they will tolerate...and like it or not, Obama is an American, and has the same rights as you do to express his opinion...

Obama has proposed that Congress should raise taxes on WAGE-INCOME, not on the NON-wage income taxes Romney and "the super rich" pay.

Under OBAMA's plan, Warren Buffet doesn't see a dime of difference in his tax bill but HIS SECRETARY'S taxes go up - A LOT.

Yes it is. But Obama is just trying to satisfy his base by taxing the rich. The actual money gained [$40-$50 billion is peanuts].

By taking that stance it will cost the middle class far more come Jan 1, 2013 when we hit the fiscal cliff.
