Liberals, do you really believe what the liberal media tells you?

Here's a prime example of why you shouldn't:

“Facts are for losers. I just make them up as I go along. People dumb enough to listen to me aren’t going to know the difference” - Chris Matthews

Update:

Melissa - Search for the quote. you will find it attributed to "Tingles", as in tingles ran up his leg, when discussing comments made by Matthews.

I recheck anything from any source - including your quote here which I can't find anywhere.

I did find these from "liberal" Chris Matthews though:

"I mean, if somebody said to me, junior year of college, you can go anywhere, your old man's paying for it, I'd have been gone in a flash. But I had to work. Every summer my mother would say, 'Get that job and hold on to it until August 30.'"

"Just look at who won the third debate between Bush and Gore. I knew Bush won, because people liked him more. People just didn't like Gore. But all the journalists thought Gore won big, he cleaned the guy's clock."

"Five years from now, 10 years from now, there's going to be a huge Islamic population in the world, they're going to be nationalistic, they're going to be religious, and they're going to be militant."

    Wow- he's SOOOO liberal! LMAO

No, I have my own brain and I know when something sounds wrong to me. A quote like this - assuming it is real and not, as I suspect, taken out of context - would make me wonder what Mr. Matthews was thinking.

No, you see we aren't toothless morons who are unable to read the daily paper.

We also aren't illiterate and think that Chris Matthews or Bill O'Reilly or Rush or Rachel Maddows are "news."

I do enjoy watching Chris Matthews (and at times Bill O'Reilly) make people explain stupid things they say.

And then they tell conservatives that they parrot Rush and Fox. I will not say ever but rarely do I listen to Rush and I tend to watch CNN more than any of the stations. I do not need to listen to views that are like my own. That is also why I am here despite listening to these young kids making fun of people religions and making up cartoon like names
