Horsey highs, lows and dreams of 2012?

It's far too early in the year for a highs and lows poll!

This year I intend to get my three year old colt his stallion license, then send him off to learn about AI and dummies. Also I have two nice four year olds to start riding, and my exceedingly green five year old who I love dearly needs to go and see what a show looks like. Other than that I'd like to keep control of my faculties, and have my children not break any bones this year.

High: My 4 year old ISH has finally cottoned onto the idea of jumping and is now flying - literally :L

Low: In the UK we've had some pretty icy and freezing conditions, this has led to my arena being frozen and none of my horses were ridden for two weeks - and I also had to withdraw from a show because the conditions were to dangerous to get there :(

It's not really a "riding" low, but I can't think of any :/

Dream: I would love to get my 4 year old out and about in the show jumping world - and dressage to an extent - and I want to keep my 11 year old WB and the standard he's at currently and hopefully get him higher ... and I guess I just want the rest of my horses to be happy and healthy

P.S I also want to spurge out on a new jumping saddle, but I didn'tknow if it really counted as "riding" :) x

Highs: Finally "got" the pony I've been riding and now ride him with confidence :))

Lows: Nothing really yet, I fell off a few weeks ago though

Dreams: Come September, I hope to make the A team of the college I'm going to.

Best/Worst Achievement so far this year? In the past month and a half I managed to survive. That is also my specific achievement for the rest of the year.

Low: my pony almost getting kicked/bit in the field

High: finding a new loan pony

achieve: winning a few competitions

Best: My horse being happy and calm after a really good ride where she finally started responding to the bit (though it did take freaking her out because the saddle slipped to the side dumping my trainer, causing her to freak out and run in circles for a few minutes)

Worst: We lost one of our mares two weeks ago.

Goals: show

Happiest memory: Jumped 4ft6 in a puissance on my horse and was then reserve champion!

Worst: Well its not to bad cause the experience was amazing to ride there but i fell off infront of around 3,000 people at a county show in the main ring! haha

This year: i would love to compete upto novice level eventing! :))

Best : when I got reserve champion in a show.

Worst : when I had to ride in minus 30 degree wheather at the show (^)

Goal: to find a horse, and to do well in shows.

Best:Got to ride Rio for the first time!! + doing more jumping

Worse: 2012 probably wont be the year I get a horse :/

Goals: Get a horse trololol :L

High: I am training the filly next door to be a barrel racer. (I am being paid) I have trained for other people before and I was excited to start with a young horse.

Low: We had to put down out 35 year old horse after she fell in the mud and broke her leg.
