Do you have to fall for someone right away or can love grow?

I've just started to get to know this guy and we get on really well and I feel like I can be myself around him. Everyone keeps telling me to date him but so far there's no spark.

Does that mean that he's straight in the friend zone or is it likely something more could develop? I don't want to mess him about :/

no it can grow slowly. perhaps one or either doesn't see a magical spark right away. it doesn't have to start off the same way, people can change and they can change because of past hurts for example

if a girl only likes hot jocks cute guys athletic types and got hurt by every one and used for example........ then she dates some nice academic type who treats her right but not much sex appeal at first she may to like and love him more because of he's genuine heart and affection..

    cheers

Well love CAN grow, however if you are not interested maybe don't do it. However if you feel that something could grow? Go for it. However be upfront with him in a kind way. Tell him that you like him as a person for sure but aren't sure if you like him as a boyfriend yet and that you two should maybe try going on a few dates to see how you feel.
