Will you go buy a Starbucks coffee today to support their position on gun rights?
Starbucks decided to respect people's right to carry firearms in their stores and today a group is organizing a boycott of Starbucks because of it. I'm buying coffee for me and my girlfriend after work to support their respect for my 2nd amendment rights.
I don't like their coffee personally. But I'll go out of my way to get one today.

Everyone against people carrying arms needs to read Armed Response by David Kenik.
It's not "assault weapons" unless a weapon is used in an assault. Responsible law abiding citizens who carry guns do so to protect themselves and others. Some of these responses are laughable. Are people really so ignorant as to think that just because I have a gun on me I'm a rage filled monster about to snap because someone screwed up an order? WTF? LOL. I have a gun to protect myself and loved ones because the job of the police is to investigate crimes after the fact. "When seconds count, police are minutes away." I carry a gun because I love my life and my wife, and I don't want either of us to be helpless should a violent criminal attack. If you ban guns from an area, you just create a safe environment for criminals, not law-abiding citizens.

It is not illegal to openly carry a handgun in public. Such an act does very little to further an attempt at getting concealed carry permits. A coffee shop or restaurant has the right to refuse service to customers carrying guns and Starbuck's is not a Liberal corporation

After reading the article, yes
It amazes me when someone tries to push an agenda that to me goes against common sense. Just because you don't like something don't force your opinion on others, this goes for the pro and anti gun groups

Oh yea just what anyone wants while waiting for a coffee.
An irate customer who feels he's been in line to long, is over or under caffeinated, and has a loaded weapon on his belt.
Hey Starbucks has a right to allow it in their stores (depending on whether the state it's located in allows it). But by the same token their customers have a right to voice their displeasure and not do their coffee business at Starbucks.

No.
They are a private company that will profit or lose from the business decisions that they make. I'm not one to go help dig them out. I'm not passionate enough about our 'right to carry guns' to really care about Starbucks.
No, I won't go to Starbucks to support their position on 'gun rights'.

If I buy some coffee to support their position on gun rights, I'll also be supporting their position on gay rights.

No.
But then, I never go to Starbucks. I did write them a letter expressing my support for the boycott, though.
