Can't expect forgiveness as a right from anyone...... it's given on own accord and in fact for own ultimate benefit anyway. The question therefore of any forgiveness for not having forgiven doesn't arise. So, just relax and of course, do try to forgive since it is in your own interests.

Forgiveness can be difficult for many people but it is something that is absolutely vital. I don't believe it would bother anyone else if you don't forgive them for whatever, but it could harm your own salvation and damage your heart and spirit.

I agree with the smart girl who posted above...One doesnt forgive anyone for any other benefit but for themselves....forgiving someone of anything means you retain your own power and have not given it away.

Yes. Forgiveness is a choice and not a command. If you choose not to forgive me I'll have to kick box you with my looooog legs ;)

I think God will forgive the sins of anyone who sincerely wants forgiveness. The key word is "sincerely".

Forgiveness isn't something you do for the other person, necessarily, it is something you do for yourself, in order to release the power their actions have over you.
