Buying Microsoft Points is it safe on Xbox live?

I would like to buy some Microsoft points. So could someone please tell me if it is safe to use a debit card on XBLA to buy Microsoft points?

Update:

And can I delete the card/payment detail after I bought the points?http://www.code4game.com/xbox-live.html

it relatively is a lie by means of fact i purchase mine with my mom's Visa and there at the instant are not any hidden costs. Whoever instructed you that have been given it mixed up with paying for an acct with a credit card. once you purchase an account for xbox stay with a credit card as quickly because it relatively is up it directly renews to 7.ninety 9 a month that's relatively dumb. yet yeah it relatively is thoroughly risk-free to purchase Microsoft factors inclusive of your credit card I do it each and all the time. in case you have any questions upload me on xbox stay my gamertag is mrwhite160. :)

I've done it before and had no problems however I'd definitely recommend getting points in stores rather than on XBL as you could potentially be hacked. If I remember correctly your card details are saved to your account (could be your hard drive, not entirely sure) which could mean if you are hacked they could buy things with your money.

It is safe but I would just buy them from the store if you can.
