When he took a trip overseas to talk about Disney to some foreign country, then got kidnapped by a bunch of evil dudes from that country, they forced him to build weapons for them. Mickey agreed but decided to create an advance cybernetic suit in which he used to escape his captors then came back to America and called himself Ironmouse.
