Does it seem to you that the media is playing up Rick Santorum for the GOP in order to brush off Mitt Romney?

Personally, I'm sick of the reporting being done in the media & blogosphere on Mitt, his politics, his history, etc. Yes - Santorum is the last 'anti-Romney' and so everything is focused on him right now - and just as with Obama four years ago - major part of his history & policies are being ignored in order to make him fit the image they want of him. Conversely - Mitt's record is being twisted to make him fit the image desired.

I'm so disgusted - I don't feel like the media is capable of anything other than propaganda. News is no longer news - the old Pravda wasn't as good at propagandizing issues and people as our American media.

I dumped the media and did my own research. I found Mitt Romney to be consistant in his defense of conservative principles such as balancing budgets, liberty, sanctity of life, etc. I do not agree with Mitt on every issue or policy - but I do think I understand where he is coming from on them and I whole-heartedly support his candidacy.

that is genuinely possible with him taking the lead in lots of national polls besides as Michigan and Ohio besides the undeniable fact that it remains not likely. Romney already has a lead in delegates and could probably improve it by using the tip of large Tuesday. Arizona, the place Romney has a huge lead, is a winner take all State, Virginia in basic terms has Romney and Paul on the polland Romney will probably win massive in the two Massachusetts and Vermont. in the different large Tuesday States the place Newt or Santorum have the lead, Romney is mostly a rather close 2nd and those all award delegates the two proportionally or by using a hybrid technique which provides a honest variety of delegates to the 2nd place finisher. in my opinion, the only desire for somebody different than Romney is for Newt to stay workable after large Tuesday and the convention to be contested. If Newt is compelled to drop out after large Tuesday, Romney will probably limp alongside gaining delegates till he reaches the paranormal 1144.

I think the media just wants a story to report. I doubt most care about either candidate. I really don't think they are specifically promoting Santorum.

Strange, how a person can use the same answer, over & over... But as for your question... I've found myself thinking, pretty much, the same thing... But in my case, I'm thinking... But yet again, the lesser, of the evils... Its been said, & I think its highly likely, the truth... The candidate with the most money, is 98 %, more likely to win.... So "IF", that's the case, Romney will be the candidate, for the Republicans..

No. The media is "playing up" Santorum because he managed to win a few primaries. Those of us with skills already know who the Republicans will elect as their candidate. It will be Willard.

All the millions of dollars spent on trying to get someone elected ought to be put towards the debt.
